The nordic rugs are my passion. Each rug is a one of a kind. I use Scandinavian techniques on a Scandinavian countermarche loom, an old Toika.
I handcut strips of fabric,
often during Celtics games.
Sometimes, I design the rug going in and out of a color or color group, producing a softer look. Sometimes, I work highly contrasting colors next to each other for a more
urban, edgy look.
These rugs are strong: I have nordic rugs which are nearing 40 years old in my house. I no longer do special orders.
